No. DESIC automates production drafting — the mechanical, standards-driven work of building a plan set. Design decisions, review, and sealing remain entirely with the engineer. DESIC removes grind, not judgment.

You show it, once. A short onboarding walks you through clicking your own title block, north arrow, and scale bar in Civil3D. DESIC measures and remembers your sheet sizes, plottable areas, plot setups, and the project-info fields already built into your title block. There's no file editing or configuration language involved — your own blocks and templates are the configuration.

No. Before acting, DESIC reads the live project state directly through its own tools, and it verifies its work afterward. It's not working from assumptions about your file — it's working from what's actually there.

DESIC hands you the crosshair for exactly the click it needs — for example, framing a view — and picks back up from there. You stay in control of the judgment calls; DESIC handles everything mechanical around them.

No. The chat is powered by Claude via Anthropic's API, but AI usage is included in your DESIC subscription and routed through DESIC's own service. There's nothing separate to sign up for or pay for.

DESIC is a monthly, per-seat subscription, billed through Stripe. Since the AI is routed through DESIC's own service, access is server-gated — if a subscription lapses, AI access stops with it.

DESIC installs as a standard AutoCAD plugin, the same bundle format used by other commercial Autodesk plugins. We're rolling out access gradually — join the waitlist to get notified when it's your turn.
